Trudy Styles doesn't want her library to be modern, but since it technically belongs to Medowlark County, she might not have a choice in the matter. 

When a county bigwig comes to town to draw up plans for a brand new, modern setup, Trudy decides he must be stopped at all costs. She will never, in a million years, give up her card catalog!

Librarian Trudy Styles has been divorced for twenty years, or so she thought. Her ex-husband is back in town, claiming they were never officially divorced. And he wants to pick up where they left off. 

The last thing Trudy wants is Martin Styles. There was a reason she divorced him in the first place. Can she convince him to go away with no fuss, or will she have to resort to drastic measures to make him her ex, permanently

A stranger has been seen lurking around Everton, but nobody knows who he is or why he's there. 

It comes as quite a shock when he walks into Montana's Coffee Emporium and drops dead ten minutes later. 

Trudy knows she has to find out who he is and whodunit before the town's only coffee shop is forced to close because no one wants to be the next to die by donut.
